Lunetterie Générale ships (almost) all over the world. We even ship to the Canary Islands!

Where do you ship from?

Lunetterie Générale's main warehouse is located in Montréal, Canada. All orders are shipped from there.

What are your delivery fees?

Lunetterie Générale offers free international shipping on all orders above $150 USD. Returns are free for orders placed in North America. Shipping costs do not include duty, tax, and other fees.

Are customs and import taxes included?

Customs charges and import taxes are excluded from the total price of the products.
This means that customers are responsible for paying outstanding import taxes, customs clearance fees or any other additional charges that are set by the customs authorities of the country of destination. In this case, the shipping company will inform you by phone or email.

Please note that if the customer refuses to pay the taxes or charges, Lunetterie Générale reserves the right to return the product to our warehouse.

When will I receive my order?

We usually process your order in 5 to 7 business days. Once your order has shipped, please allow the following time to receive your package:

Shipment to Asia – 7 to 10 business days
Shipment in Oceania– 5 to 7 business days
Shipment in Europe– 5 to 7 business days
Shipment to America– 5 to 7 business days

How can I track my order?

Once your purchase is confirmed, an email with a UPS tracking number will be sent to you within 5 to 7 days.
You can use this number to track your shipment the next day.


Can I order prescription lenses on

We currently do not offer prescription lenses online. All our frames are meant to be prescription ready whenever you feel like it. Lunetterie Générale recommends that you visit one of our authorized retailers listed here. When purchasing a frame online, any local independent optician will be able to add your prescription. How can I pay?

All payments processed online are safe and secured.

We provide many different payment methods. You may pay with American Express, VISA and MasterCard, as well as Paypal where ever you are. For flexible payment options, you can use Apple Pay or Klarna - a Buy-Now, Pay-Later solution that allows you to split your entire online purchase into 4 interest-free payments, over 6 weeks with no impact to your credit.

How does pre-order work?

If you bought an item marked as "pre-order", it means it's not in stock at the moment and that it will ship out at a later date. Please refer to the approximate shipping date stated on the product page. If your order also contains items that are in stock, these items will ship out immediately and your pre-order item(s) will ship when available. If you ordered sunglasses with custom lenses, your order will be fulfilled when the frame will be back in stock. Closer to the approximate shipping date, you’ll receive an email to inform you when your order is being processed.

Can I cancel or make a change to my order?

To modify or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at However, we may not be able to make a change if the product has already been sent. If your order has already been shipped, please return your purchase within fourteen (14) days of receiving it.

What warranty do you offer on your products?

Lunetterie Générale guarantees its products for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. Under this warranty, if a part proves to be defective in materials or workmanship, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge.

Return the product with your proof of purchase to your optician, fashion retailer, or to the mailing address of the company’s head office. This warranty does not cover lenses scratched by normal wear, nor any accidental damage resulting from mishandling, or unauthorized repair or modification of the product.

To submit a warranty claim, please email detailing the issue and providing us with pictures. We will review the claim and place the order for you. If your frames do not fall under warranty, you may place an order for the defective part. You can also email us at with your enquiry and we will place the corresponding order for you.

Where can I get my frames repaired?

For any repair inquiries, always deal with the retail store or optician you bought the glasses from. In the event that the retailer is not an authorized Lunetterie Générale retailer anymore, please contact and we'll be happy to help you.

Where are your products made?

We always put quality first, that’s why our frames are handmade in Japan by the best eyewear-making masters. Our workshops are located in Sabae, in the Fukui Prefecture. For more than a century, the eyewear ecosystem there has been well-known for creating the most innovative products.

Final quality control as well as lens cutting and mounting is done at our warehouse in Montréal, Canada.

What materials are used to make LG frames?

All our plastic frames are made using Japanese-made cellulose acetate from well-known Takiron & Daicel factories.
Hardware and custom metal pieces are made of premium titanium.
All our metal frames are built from Japanese beta-titanium. All parts are soldered together with extra precision and care for durability.
Sunglasses frames are made of high-grade CR-39 material - a lightweight & scratch-resistant plastic. With front and backside anti-reflective treatment, our sun lenses will protect your eyes and are 100% UV protection guaranteed.
