In the early 30s, British engineer Reginald Mitchell created the Spitfire, a single-seat fighter aircraft capable of unique performance and impressive in-combat prouesse. With its Rolls-Royce V12 Merlin engine and bold design, the Spitfire became the symbol of many historic decisive victories during WWII.
